ASBIS enhances portfolio with SanDisk data storage solutions

Brroadliner ASBIS has signed a distribution agreement with flash storage vendor SanDisk. Under the terms of the deal, the entire assortment of solid state drives of SanDisk including SATA SSDs, SAS SSDs, PCIe Solid State Accelerators (SSAs), and Smart Storage SSDs will be available to ASBIS partners in all counties where the company is established, that is Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates.

Samsonite authorizes more broadly EET Europarts

Scandinavia: already working together in Denmark, Samsonite has granted official distribution rights to broadliner EET Europarts over the Finnish and Norwegian markets.

KMS goes bankrupt

United Kingdom: broadliner and tablet vendor KMS Components has gone into administration, following the loss of Argos, its largest customer, and a licensing dispute with Google, which left it with huge unsold stock. After having immediately fired 34 employees, administration handler Deloitte plans to cease trading and leave some suppliers with debts of up to €590,000. 21 employees have been kept for a short time to handle customer support and returns.
