Espion first European firm to achieve Symantec e-discovery expert competency

Ireland: security VAD Espion has become the first company in Europe to achieve Symantec e-discovery expert competency certification. The award was made following a rigorous assessment process validating the company's expertise in archiving and e-discovery carried out by six technical experts. StarLink to expand geographical footprint in 2015

Security VAD StarLink has recently announced its on-the-ground presence and team expansion plans for the second half of 2015. StarLink's Vision is to take its success story globally. The 2015 Mission includes launching new StarLink territories: Europe, as well as, North, East and West Africa, with initial Sales and Technical Management resources being deployed locally. Headcount in existing territories will also be enhanced with hiring activities taking place in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, South Africa, Turkey and the US. "We are excited to be able to continue working towards achieving our long-term strategic objectives by opening up new markets to replicate our business model, and to fill the multiple openings that have arisen over the course of the year due to being on target with our revenue goals" said, Nidal Othman, Managing Director at StarLink. Atempo appointed as distributor for Pan Acoustics

Turkey: AV VAD Atempo has been appointed by Pan Acoustics, the steerable audio specialist from Wolfenbüttel in Germany, as distributor for the Pan Beam, Pan Speaker and Pan Powerline series. The Pan Beam and Pan Powerline series are capable of flexible steering, providing a near constant and precise signal alignment and accomplishing consistent and high sound levels for all audience areas in large venues. The Pan Speaker series of passive loudspeakers offer high efficiency, integrated protection circuits, high speech intelligibility even in the most adverse acoustic environments. ALSO Logistics goes bankrupt

Germany: ALSO Logistics, a subsidiary of broadliner ALSO which was built last year on the acquisition of Weltbild publishing group to provide logistic services, has closed its doors. The reason of this fast bankruptcy is the inability for the company to face the competition, with high costs impossible to review without a heavy restructuration.
