Symantec names Arrow as a strategic distribution partner in EMEA

Arrow ECS has been named a multinational strategic distribution partner of Symantec in the EMEA region. Following the acquisition of Blue Coat by Symantec in 2016, Arrow ECS has renewed its distribution contract with Symantec. Prior to the acquisition, Arrow had distributed the products and solutions of both companies in numerous countries. Arrow ECS has now extended its collaboration with the company. This new contract covers Austria, the Baltic States, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Symantec, the world's largest provider of cyber security solutions, offers a comprehensive portfolio with products, solutions and services for endpoint, cloud, web and messaging security. As one of the largest Symantec Secure One Services Partner (SOSP) in EMEA, Arrow has highly skilled engineers providing resellers and end customers with 24/7 support allowing them to be more profitable. Difox distributes Photofast

German retail specialist Difox has started the distribution of Photofast call recorders and storage drives for Apple devices in Europe, through its offices in Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.

Nureva announces its entry into the Spanish market with Crambo

Michel Cohen leaves Exclusive Networks

France: after a three-year mission at the head of the French office of Exclusive Networks, Michel Cohen has left the network and security VAD. According to an email he sent to his contacts, he does not plan retirement immediately, but will stay in the market as a consultant for a few more months/years.
