Ixia and Arrow ECS expand relationship to include EMEA

Ixia, a provider of network testing, visibility, and security solutions, has expanded its current relationship with infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS, enabling Arrow to distribute the full portfolio of Ixia solutions in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), in addition to North and Latin American. The expanded relationship will allow Ixia's EMEA-based reseller partners to take advantage of Arrow ECS' specialized services and expertise across the product lifecycle. In addition, Arrow ECS' resellers in EMEA can join Ixia's Channel Xcelerate Partner Program, which enables reseller partners to deliver end-to-end solutions for making their customers' applications and network security stronger.

Central Europe: in Poland, broadliner ABC Data has expanded its mobility portfolio with Tomtom navigation systems. Broadliner 100Mega Distribution has been appointed official distributor by Vivax for its lines of household products as well as TV, audio systems and smartphones in both Czechia and Slovakia1. Infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS has hired Kateřina Opočenská as account manager, in charge of developing relationships with existing customers in Czechia2. Broadliner ASBIS CZ has started the distribution of Tesla batteries and toner cartridges3. Its competitor AT Computers has inked an exclusive distribution partnership with disaster recovery editor Xopero, covering the Czechia market4. Eastern Europe: in Czechia, infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS has hired Ondřej Mikuš from Azlan as business development manager for F5 Networks1. Italian vendor Chatsim has chosen young telephony specialist Venlan as its official distributor in the country for its chat-oriented, international SIMs2.

In Hungary, network and security VAD Relnet has added Commvault data management solutions and Pulse Secure mobile VPNs to its catalog.

Finally, in Poland, broadliner ALSO has become official distributor for Microsoft OEM products3. Until now, ALSO could distribute "only" Microsoft ESD, hardware, CSP, Xbox and Surface products. Value-added broadliner Veracomp has strengthened its consumer division with Arozzi gaming chairs. Arrow ECS named a strategic global distributor for new Dell EMC Partner Programme

Infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS has been named to the list of key global distribution partners for Dell EMC's new integrated Partner Programme. "The Dell EMC programme offers Arrow's global IT reseller ecosystem great opportunities to deliver enhanced customer value and increased profitability", said Sean Kerins, president of Arrow's global enterprise computing solutions business. "Arrow is proud to collaborate with Dell EMC on this new channel programme, which combines the best of the legacy Dell and EMC partner programmes."

Carbon Black and Arrow ECS partner to bring next-generation antivirus security to the market

Carbon Black, a specialist in next-generation endpoint security, has inked a strategic distribution relationship with infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS. Arrow's network of global value-added resellers (in the EMEA region, in Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom) will sell all of Carbon Black's solutions including CB Defense, Carbon Black's Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV). "With the proliferation of enterprise devices and the internet of things, it's no secret the market is looking for robust endpoint security solutions", said Shannon McWilliams, who directs the dedicated security practice within Arrow's enterprise computing solutions business.
