Eastern Europe: in Czechia, infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS has hired Ondřej Mikuš from Azlan as business development manager for F5 Networks1. Italian vendor Chatsim has chosen young telephony specialist Venlan as its official distributor in the country for its chat-oriented, international SIMs2.

In Hungary, network and security VAD Relnet has added Commvault data management solutions and Pulse Secure mobile VPNs to its catalog.

Finally, in Poland, broadliner ALSO has become official distributor for Microsoft OEM products3. Until now, ALSO could distribute "only" Microsoft ESD, hardware, CSP, Xbox and Surface products. Value-added broadliner Veracomp has strengthened its consumer division with Arozzi gaming chairs. Poland: broadliner AB has started the distribution of Canon ImageRunner copiers in the country1. The distributor has also appointed Rafał Michalczuk as its new financial director, replacing Grzegorz Ochędzan who recently resigned2. Wojciech Łastowiecki, who was country director for broadliner ALSO, has left the distributor for unknown reasons3. He has been replaced by Paweł Łasak. Consumer electronics specialist Nelro Data has expanded its portfolio with LED television vendor Skyworth4. Finally, multispecialist Veracomp has been appointed exclusive distributor for Red Hat in the country5 (source: CRN Polska 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5).

AB, ABC Data, Tech Data and Veracomp sign new partners

Eastern Europe: Polish broadliner AB SA has been chosen by ZyXEL as official distributor for its network products1. Its competitor ABC Data has expanded its 3D printing offer with CraftUnique 3D printers and filaments2. Beside Poland, the deal also covers Czechia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Slovakia. In Poland again, broadliner Tech Data has been appointed by Micron as official distributor for its Ballistix and Crucial-branded memory modules and SSD3. Finally, multispecialist Veracomp has added Flowmon's network monitoring tools to its catalog (source: CRN Polska 1, 2 and 3).

AB rides the bike while ALSO hires and Ingram and Veracomp pick up new vendors

Poland: broadliner AB SA has expanded its portfolio with TrybEco, a local brand of electric bikes1. These products are part of the strategy of the company to expand beyond the IT market. Broadliner ALSO has hired Paweł Umiński as Commercial Sales Director2. Paweł has worked in the past for companies such as Emerson (now Vertiv) or ABC Data. The mobility division of Ingram Micro has inked a deal with French vendor Archos, whose tablets, smartphones and related products it will distribute in the country3. Finally, French privileged access management vendor Wallix has appointed multispecialist Veracomp as an official distributor (source: CRN Polska 1, 2 and 3).

Central Europe: in Czechia, broadliner Tech Data has been appointed official distributor by Canadian graphic vendor Matrox1. Network and security VAD VUMS DataCom has expanded its offer with FlowMon network monitoring solutions2. In Poland, RRC, which is due to trade under "Ingram Micro Polska" name by the end of the year, is already preparing the transition. It is from now on using a warehouse owned by the local Mobility division of the American broadliner, thus doubling its capacities in the country3. Network and telecom VAD Komsa Systems has been chosen by German telecom vendor bintec elmeg as official distributor in the country4. Consumer electronics and storage specialist Nelro Data has opened a new sales office in Wrocław, managed by Łukasz Piotrowiak (the former product management director of broadliner MaxComputers)5. The Mobile division of broadliner Tech Data has added Huawei Honor smartphones to its portfolio6. Multispecialist Veracomp has been granted exclusive distribution rights over the country by Red Hat. The two companies have been working together over the past two years, without exclusivity. Finally, in Ukraine, broadliner MTI has inked a distribution partnership with enterprise storager server vendor Hitachi Data Systems (source: ChannelWorld Česko 1 and 2, CRN Polska 3, 4, 5 and 6, Komputernoye Obozrenye Ukraina).
