Nedis distributes Mobilize
Accessory and connectivity vendor and distributor Nedis has expanded its catalog with Mobilize, a vendor of accessories for mobile phones. Mobilize products are available in whole Europe through Nedis offices in Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Switzerland: local broadliner Alltron is continuing to expand its portfolio to be able to act as an alternative to its international competitors. The company is now distributing AEE action cameras. Dätwyler Group has decided to merge its local cabling and accessory distribution arm Proditec into its Nedis pan-European powerhouse. The merge ought to be finalized within a few months, and will allow Proditec resellers to access to the wide Nedis catalog, including its own brands König, Sweex, Value Line or HQ. Finally, AV specialist AV Distribution has acquired the Professional division of Ifrec for an undisclosed amount. The Ifrec Professional division was active in the broadcast, security, digital signage and LED display markets. Frédéric Bischoff and Daniel Gerum join AV Distribution and will work on sales support for the products of the former Professional division (source: IT Reseller and IT-Markt Schweiz).
Oplink Connected with Nedis
Nedis Group has started the distribution of the Oplink Communication home security systems through its offices in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia/a>, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Nedis reorganizes its offer
Following its acquisition by Swiss group Dätwyler, the Dutch vendor and distributor Nedis has worked over the past year on streamlining and reorganizing its offer, in order to improve their visility in the channel and allow its resellers to sell them more efficiently. Profigold and Bandridge focus from now on connectivity and associated accessories. HQ is now used for household products (including batteries, bulbs or healthcare). ValueLine is the brand for low end accessories and connectivity, while König is used for middle- to high-range products. Sweex, which has been acquired last year, is the multimedia brand, while Camlink is used on photo accessories. The five last existing brands of Nedis, Amarina, KNG, Yarvik, Rocking Residence et BasicXL, are poised to be replaced by, respectively, Sweex for the four firsts and ValueLine for the last. The own brand business covers from 60 to 80% of the activity of Nedis, depending on countries. The remaining is made of distribution, with brands like Belkin or TP-Link, which add value to Nedis offer on segments it does not cover. All Nedis products are available through its offices in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Nedis listens to music with Thonet & Vander
Cabling and accessory Nedis has been appointed by Thonet & Vander as exclusive, pan-European distributor for its lines of wireless speakers. Albeit of German origin, Thonet & Vander was until now mostly active in South America. Its products, already recognized of a very interesting price-quality ratio by several major etailers throughout the continent, are available through Nedis offices in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
